THE BAREFOOT LINGUIST has worked and lived on five continents, exploring the fascinating secrets of minority languages and cultures and writing about them. He has been an invited speaker at international conventions worldwide. While these presentations were directed to a mainly academic audience, now is the time for everybody to learn about language and languages! No academic knowledge is required to follow these talks and useful linguistic terms will be introduced in a language everybody understands.
